Zero Hunger Nepal: BSSK’s Mission in Action

As the global community intensifies efforts to end hunger, Nepal remains deeply affected by food insecurity, with its youngest population facing severe challenges. Shockingly, 31.5% of children under five in Nepal suffer from restricted growth, a sign of long-term undernutrition, according to the Global Nutrition Report. Additionally, 12% of children under five experience wasting, a life-threatening condition caused by acute food shortages, while nearly 24% are underweight, as reported by UNICEF. In alignment with the United Nations’ goal to eradicate hunger by 2030, BSSK has set a bold target to support 10,000 children struggling with hunger in Nepal by the same year.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our invaluable partners for their unwavering support in helping us bring our mission to life and turn our vision into reality. A special thanks to Moving Mountain e.V., Ward-11 Kathmandu, Rotaract Babarmahal Kathmandu, Lions Club of Kathmandu, and our dedicated individual donors. Your generosity has played a crucial role in transforming our dreams into tangible change.

Our commitment is stronger than ever, and BSSK will  not rest until Nepal becomes a nation free from hunger. Together, we are building a future where every child has access to the nourishment they deserve. The journey continues, and we will stop at nothing to achieve a Nepal without hunger.
